The place where the stars ate. It was one of the great pieces of googie architecture. The sign was made for the opening of the restaurant in 1926. At the time it said "Eat at the Hat." Then a few years later they covered that up with a new skin, which is the sign as it is today. We've owned this with great pride for almost 15 years. The skin was never restored in any way.
