Anybody know that there was a chain of Laugh-In restaurants?? I picked up this napkin and french fry bag on ebay but have no idea where these places were. Pass on any info pleasee...
in the early 70's they were around. the store i knew was in the detroit area. do not remember how long they were around or what happened to them. they also gave out little fickle finger of fate awards. interesting that you would buy things from a fast food restaurant you never heard of.
The Laugh-In Restaurant I went to as a child was in the Metro Detroit area (Birmingham/Troy). It was on Maple Road just west of Cooidge Road. I remember the BEST onion rings in the world. No kidding. They were breaded, whole onion rings and salty - yum! They had a Bippy Burger and Fickle Finger of Fate Fries and a dessert called Here Comes The Fudge. Too bad they closed; I remember them from the early '70s.
Just found this because I was just mentioning this to a friend. I totally remember the one in Troy Michigan in the Detroit area near Birmingham. I always thought it was a market test because it didn't last long. It seems maybe 1970 to 1971 only. They also had a Flying Fickle Finger of Fate premium that was yellow styrofoam.
I recall eating at one in the early 1970's that was near the Pompano Fashion Square in South Florida. It was next to a McDonalds and didn't last very long. The same space, either before or after was another tv themed fast food place (Hee-Haw maybe?).
